Alma Hammond is an award-winning children's book author. She has written and published eight children’s books, published by her own small press, Sweetbeet Books, which she started in January of 2017. Her picture books are for children aged 3 - 8 years old and teach about other cultures and geographies. Some of the themes she touches upon include diversity, friendship, acceptance of others, self-esteem, kindness, and gratitude.  Alma will release a new picture book this summer called, “Catterfly Grows A Garden.” All of Alma’s children’s books are educational and include fun facts.
